- I've been trading for a little over a year. I am purely a technical trader. I trade based off support/resistance. I mainly trade the Forex market for the leverage because i have limited funds. I am still pretty young (just turned 21). It's hard for me to find other traders or people interested in trading.. All my friends make fun of me, my family is unsupportive, nobody thinks i can make it.. But trading is my passion and I will never stop doing it. Thats why i join sites like this, I hope to meet other traders and i hope we can learn from each other. I don't consider myself to be a newbie trader and i don't consider myself to be a master trader. I'm not stupid and i will not blow out my account, but at the same time i'm not getting rich quick. My goal is to build my account high enough to be a full time trader and live comfortably by the time i'm 25-30, and i think its a reasonable goal. I cant stand the rat race life living paycheck to paycheck. I want to be able to work for myself. I see trading as the path to get there.
