Default Feature Article: Trade What is Real, Not What You Feel

The two main forms of analysis in trading and investing are technical and fundamental analysis, and they are very real. However, thinking that mastering these two forms of analysis will lead to consistent low risk profits is an illusion second to none. The more an individual attempts to master these types of analysis, the more they may be layering subjective, complex illusions on top of each other. This is a recipe for consistent failure and is the subject of Sam's article this week.

Great article! I guess you post these readings because Mr. Seiden and yourself think alike huh? I've always wondered.. ( Not beating up on folks who use em but) Why use lagging indicators if it's all data from price action and volume? Great stuff.. Keep'em coming Shoot! lol

Indicators give people that warm and fuzzy. It's something they can see and pretend to interpret because it's a pretty little wavy line thingy on the chart. I used them because I heard other people used them. When I found out about trading I was apart of a seminar that was all about the MACD and Stochastics. Not until I got online and started researching for myself did I find that they weren't need. The Pro course put the last nail on my EMA's coffin.
