Default Capitalism: A Love Story - A film by Michael Moore (Full Movie)

Hey Everyone,

Here is Michael Moore's latest offering, Capitalism: A Love Story. Even though we are traders I will always believe it's healthy to investigate alternative viewpoints. Not only is this documentary entertaining, but it also raises a few good points about not just capitalism itself, but the American indoctrination that we as american's are all subject to. Enjoy, and feedback is welcome. -Shoot-

A big thank you for posting this Shoot,

I've been wanting to see this, almost Red Box'd it last night actually. I know Moore uses some tactics in his documentaries to pull at heart strings and one should always research what they've seen to make sure they are not being manipulated by either party. This does shed some light on how screwed up things are though. Greed and lust for power rule the roost in our society.

One of the worst things in this documentary is the wording of a certain insurance "policy." Peasants Insurance. What. The. F@#%. PEASANTS! That's what we are those at the top. Heck I'm surprised it wasn't called bug insurance. Why don't people do something about this mess? Because the rich finally got in figured out in the 20th Century. Give the people an American dream, a place to buy crap, and a mortgage and they will gladly shovel money into the coffers of the wealthy. People don't want to lose their plasma TV's, SUV's, and other "American amenities." Makes me sick.

-Sarge (AKA One of the few who swore to uphold the constitution and protect it only to see it constantly run through the mud.)

Thanks for posting the vid shoot! I had been meaning to watch this for a few months now. Being a pilot I thought it was good to see the state of the industry (although here in Aus its not that bad....yet) exposed for what it is. Management taking advantage of people who enjoy their job so much.

Liked the idea of the robot company where all the employees voted on management and so forth. Im a firm believer that the employees of all companies should enjoy the benefits of being able to vote in Management based on how good a job they do.

Anyway thanks again and I thoroughly enjoy your live trading vids! (even if it does lull me into a false sense of security with the apparent ease in which you do it).

Hey umm...chode.. welcome to the community and I'm glad you liked the movie. I also liked the idea of that company, they are actually in wisconsin where I'm from. Yea, the vids make it look easy but it's not so easy after all. I just used those plays as examples, everyone has losses, just some have fewer than others.

Take care, Shoot
