Default Feature Article: Got Questions? Sam has Answers!

Sam answers several reader/student questions this week. He will follow up on last week's article, cover gap up as a demand, help interpret monthly supply level on the S&P and relay the importance of not relying on computer-generated models on indicators.

Another good article.. Im currently attending the Protrader Course at OTA! Tomorrow is day 5 and my instructor is Steve Misic, former Assistant head trader at R&J Financial Hedge Fund. Steve Misic was also a currency strategist for the Chicago Board of Trade. lol Not to mention a former protege of Sam Seiden.

Wow, very nice Jr. I'm excited for you to share what you've learned with all of us when you get a chance, and even more excited for the personal growth that might come as a result of this type of education. Just curious, was Steve as focused on supply/demand as Sam is?

Congrats man! I envy you for being able to take such a course. Maybe you can teach us something when you get finished.

@Shoot - I looked Steve Misic up on fxstreet and here is his latest video.

Shoot,

After watching the video I posted, and that being my only judgment basis, I would say he is more focused on systems using highs and lows. However, the video is based on trading ranges and he never mentions supply and demand that I can recall. He focuses on daily high/low, 8am candle high/low and midnight candle high/low using 2hr-4hr charts depending on the pair. Again all of what I said is based on one video.

Thanks guys! @ Dr. Pip, Yea! I'll be more than happy to share what I learned if it'll help. @ Shoot, Steve is just like Sam when it comes to supply and demand. Everyone in the class tries so hard to scramble writing notes when he's talking about indicators, but Steve and I have short conversations during our little breaks and he says he does'nt use indicators in his personal trading. It's strictly supply and demand

I'm all ears man! If you ever want to get a chat session or white board session going let me know. If not maybe we can see some of what you learned through some trades. Thanks
