Default BB Codes (Posting Videos, Images, and more!)

Hey All,

Here is a list of "BB" codes that are active on TradingApples. BB Codes allow you to post videos, images, and virtually anything you wish to post. If you don't see a code on here that you want or there is something you want to post but aren't sure how, just ask in the forum below this post!


Youtube Videos:
When viewing a video on youtube, the URL looks like this:You are going to want to copy the video tag code from the URL which is shown for this URL above in bold. An easy way to remember what you need to copy is everything after the = sign in the URL. You then need to paste this URL into the BB code for Youtube which is shown below:


For a smaller Youtube player, you may also use:


CNBC Videos:
When viewing a video on CNBC, there is an option to click "Embed" below the video. This displays the "embed code" for the given video. Take a look at the code and look for the following:
Quote:
<param name="movie" value="http://plus.cnbc.com/rssvideosearch/...nbcplayershare"/>
Copy the movie value code (shown above in bold) and simply paste it in the following code:


BlipTv
When viewing a video on Blip.tv, there is an option to click "embed" below the video. This displays the "embed code" for the given video. Take a look at the code and look for the following:

<embed src="http://blip.tv/play/AensUo7IUQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="1280" height="750" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed>
Copy the movie code (shown above in bold) and simply paste it in the following code:


CNN Videos:
When viewing a video on CNN, there is an option to click "embed" below the video. This displays the "embed code" for the given video. Take a look at the code and look for the following:
